Actually, if the genie was in the lamp from 300 AD to 10,300 Ad then he still wouldn’t have known about those celebrities. This entire argument is based on the idea that while inside the lamp, the genie can’t know what is going on outside of the lamp. Given this as the premise, how can he know about the existence of those comedians (given he was with Aladdin non-stop). Even if he read them in a book or something, that’s not enough to make an accurate impression of them. Seeing as there was never anything shown that supports the idea of videos of the acts, the genie can’t be able to make accurate impressions. Thus we are forced to conclude that the genie can be aware of the outside world while inside the lamp (thus negating the argument as that was the basis of it all) or that through his magic he is able to learn about the past (also negating the argument).
